About the service

Genuine Update is an independent digital journal providing original news summaries, analysis, briefings, and related reader services. Content is offered for general informational purposes and is not legal, medical, investment, or other professional advice.

Acceptable use

You may read and share links to our public pages for lawful, personal use. You may not interfere with the service, attempt unauthorized access, misuse subscriber information, impersonate another person, or reproduce substantial portions of the site as a substitute publication.

Sources and third-party services

Stories may link to credited sources and may include media or services supplied by third parties. Those services are governed by their own terms and policies. A link or embed does not mean Genuine Update controls or endorses every statement on the linked service.

Subscriptions and messages

Email and text-message subscriptions are voluntary and may be cancelled using the unsubscribe instructions provided with each channel. Text alerts are also governed by our SMS Terms. Message and data rates may apply.
